Executive Chairman
Dr. Lo was born in Hong Kong on February 19, 1947. He graduated in 1970 from McGill University in Canada, with B.Sc. in Biophysics, and in 1974 graduated from Cornell University with M.D. in medicine. Dr. Lo was trained and specialised in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, and did research in Nuclear Cardiology during his fellowship at the University of Michigan Hospital in USA until 1979.
On his return to Hong Kong, Dr. Lo joined the Board of Great Eagle Group (1980 - present) and is now the Chairman and Managing Director, and he is the Executive Chairman of the Langham Hospitality Group (2003 – present). He is also the Chairman and non-executive Director of Eagle Asset Management (CP) Limited (Manager of the publicly listed Champion Real Estate Investment Trust) (2006 – present).
Among his other public and civic positions, he acts as a Vice President of the Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong, a Trustee of the Hong Kong Centre for Economic Research, and a Board Member of the Hong Kong Airport Authority. He was formerly a Director of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (1992-2006) and was Chairman of the Listing Committees of both the Main Board (1992-1996) and Growth Enterprise Market (1999-2003). Dr Lo was also Chairman of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority from 2000 to 2002.
He is a non-executive Director of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, Shanghai Industrial Holdings Limited, Phoenix Satellite Television Holdings Limited and China Mobile (Hong Kong) Limited, besides other well-known Hong Kong corporate entities.
Dr Lo has received a number of awards in recognition of his varied contributions to Hong Kong’s business and civic sectors: in 2003, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region conferred on him one of its highest honours, the Gold Bauhinia Star. In 2005, Dr Lo was named “Hotelier of the Year” at the Asia-Pacific Hotel Industry Conference, and received the “Hong Kong Business Person of the Year” award from DHL/SCMP. The following year, he was cited as “Travel Entrepreneur of the Year” by Travel Trade Gazette.
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Stefan LESER, joined Langham Hospitality Group as chief executive officer in 2018. He oversees all aspects of management and brands for the Langham Hospitality Group’s global portfolio of hotels, resorts and residences. He provides strategic guidance to achieve the company’s vision, implementing organizational processes for all hotels, and leading the global expansion drive. With over 30 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industries, Mr. Leser was previously the group chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors at Jumeirah International. He also held senior roles for more than a decade at Kuoni Travel Holding Ltd., the leading Swiss travel services provider. As a member of Kuoni’s executive board and executive vice president of the outbound and specialists division, he directed the company’s travel businesses, and was also responsible for all inbound destination management businesses. Prior to joining Kuoni, Mr. Leser spent six years working in the information technology industry with Swissair and EDS Corporation. He holds a MBA from Augusta State University of Georgia (U.S.).
Chief Financial Officer
Eric Luk is a finance specialist with more than 30 years of experience in group and regional financial control as well as hotel acquisitions.
His areas of expertise include financial planning, management and control, as well as business management.
Eric is responsible for the finance, project analysis, research and legal functions and works closely with the owning company Great Eagle Holdings on hotel investment opportunities. He is charged with the alignment of financial strategy, planning, business management, and controls across the growing number of hotels and assets in the Langham Hospitality Group portfolio.
Chief Operations Officer
As COO, Bob oversees the regional vice presidents, managing directors and general managers to elevate the operational success of the group’s properties globally. At the corporate level, he steers the food and beverage, spa, rooms and quality divisions to ensure that the hotels around the world meet and exceed operational, guest service, strategic, branding and fiscal plans, while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance.
A highly respected hotelier in the industry, Bob has over two decades of hospitality experience and was most recently managing director at The Langham, London and the group’s regional vice president, operations (Europe, Middle East and the United States).
Senior Vice President, Chief Sales & Development Officer
Simon Manning is a seasoned hotel professional with more than 25 years of sales, development and marketing experience in luxury hotel groups. His experience includes assignments in North America, Middle East and Europe and Asia Pacific.
Before joining Langham Hospitality Group, Simon headed the Sales & Marketing division for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in the Asia Pacific region. Under his leadership, The Ritz-Carlton successfully expanded from 3 to 22 hotels in Asia, while also launching world-renowned brands such as BVLGARI Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton Residences and the exclusive Ritz-Carlton Reserve Resorts.
Simon is responsible for sales division and the growth and expansion of Langham Hospitality Group’s portfolio globally.
Senior Vice President - People and Culture
At Langham Hospitality Group, Sandra oversees all aspects of human resources, including culture, learning and development, employee engagement, organizational design, and talent management to meet and support the overall Group’s growth plan.
With over 25 years’ human resources experience, Sandra has a solid understanding and in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, with a strong focus on Greater China. Sandra had previously held the position of Vice President, Human Resources, Talent Management Solutions - Asia Pacific at Marriott International where she was responsible for strategic workforce planning and analytics, performance management, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, employer branding, recruitment technology, talent sourcing and recruiting, college relations and graduate programmes.

Senior Vice President, Innovation, Digital Transformation and Strategy
An experienced strategist, Shrikant Shenoy has more than 18 years of consulting and in-house experience developing innovation strategies to ensure optimum performance results for businesses.
In his most recent role prior to joining Langham Hospitality Group, Shrikant was Vice President, Strategy for the Jumeirah Group where he worked closely with the CEO to establish and articulate the company’s strategy. He was also with Dubai Holdings for five years where he led the strategic oversight and performance monitoring of multiple business units. During his tenure at management consulting firm McKinsey & Company and Agilisys. Shrikant was responsible for the development of innovation and start-up strategies for the business portfolio.
At Langham Hospitality Group, Shrikant Shenoy will be driving innovation, digital transformation and strategy.
Senior Vice President - Design & Technical Services
Mr Wong Poo Teck (P.T.) joined Langham Hospitality Group in 2017 and is responsible for overseeing the design and technical development of all The Langham and Cordis properties globally.
Prior to joining the Langham Hospitality Group, P.T. was the head of projects at The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited where he led the development of The Peninsula hotels and residences projects in London, Istanbul, Yangon, Paris and Shanghai, and renovations of The Peninsula Beijing, Chicago, Hong Kong and New York.
Other key developments led by P.T. in his career included the refurbishment of Shangri-La properties in Asia, development of the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel and development and renovations of Mandarin Oriental hotels in Asia.
P.T. has over 27 years of experience in engineering and property development. He started his career in the United Kingdom as a structural engineer with Ove Arup & Partners in London where he undertook design works for new builds and restoration of Grade 1 listed buildings in London. Following that, P.T. continued to lead and manage the development and refurbishment of notable hotels, residential and commercial, residential and hotel projects around the world.
